Quote view tracking

See when your quote is opened, and what happened next

A quote you cannot see into is a quote you have to guess about. QuoteGlide records when the quote page is opened and what the customer did there, so you know whether you are waiting on a decision or on an email that never arrived.

Free plan available. No credit card required.

When a quote is opened, its status moves to Viewed and the event is recorded on the quote's own timeline. That single fact changes what you should do next: a quote that has never been opened is usually a delivery or an inbox problem, and a quote that has been opened three times is a decision being made.

Every quote carries the same timeline, on every plan. It records what was sent, when the quote page was opened, when each reminder went out, and what the customer did: accepted, declined, asked a question, requested changes, or asked to be reminded later.

The list tells you whose turn it is

Your quote list groups by state rather than by date, so the quotes that need something from you sit apart from the ones waiting on a customer. Questions and change requests appear as their own statuses, and the notification bell separates what needs your attention from what has simply happened.

The numbers behind the activity

On Pro and Business, reporting turns the same activity into figures: acceptance rate, value recovered by follow-ups, time to first view and time to decision. Business adds export, so the data can go into a spreadsheet with everything else.

A worked example

One quote's timeline, a week after it was sent.

Three opens and no answer is not silence. It is a quote being read and thought about, and it is a very different conversation from a quote that was never opened at all.

Questions people ask

Short, factual answers about what this does and where it stops.

Can a business see when a customer views a quote?
Yes. The quote's status moves to Viewed the first time the quote page is opened, and every open is recorded on the quote's activity timeline along with reminders sent and the customer's response.
What activity does QuoteGlide record?
Sends, quote page views, reminders sent, and customer responses: accepted, declined, question received, changes requested, remind me later, and email bounces or complaints.
Is tracking included on the free plan?
Yes. The quote activity timeline is part of every plan, including Free. The reporting page, with acceptance rate, time to first view and time to decision, is on Pro and Business.
Does the customer have to do anything for tracking to work?
No. Opening the secure quote link is what records the view. There is nothing for the customer to install and no account to create.
