For landscapers
Quoting software for landscapers and grounds maintenance
Most landscaping quotes are worked out standing in the garden they describe. QuoteGlide is built for that: speak the job into your phone on site, get a draft priced from your own rates, and let the follow-up run itself.
Free plan available. No credit card required.
A landscaping quote is half work and half logistics. What is being cleared, what is being planted, how much soil and mulch it takes, how the machine gets down the side of the house, where the green waste goes, and whether any of it comes back every fortnight.
None of that is knowable from a desk, which is why the quote is really written while you are walking the plot. The problem has always been the gap between walking it and writing it up.
QuoteGlide closes that gap on the phone in your pocket. Speak the job as you walk, and the AI composer prepares a draft quote from what you said, priced from the services and rates you have already set.
The parts of a landscaping quote it keeps hold of
The composer works from what you describe, which for grounds work usually includes:
- Clearance and cleanup: overgrowth, old beds, brambles, and the state the site starts in.
- Planting: plants and trees by number, with anything the customer supplies kept separate.
- Bulk materials by volume: topsoil, mulch, bark, aggregate, turf.
- Equipment and machine hire, including the days a digger or chipper is on site.
- Labour by day or by crew, at the rate you actually charge.
- Disposal: green waste and spoil removal, a real cost and the easiest one to leave off.
- Recurring maintenance visits, quoted separately from the one-off work.
- Exclusions: access limits, tree work needing a specialist, drainage, anything weather-dependent.
The mobile walk-round
Open QuoteGlide on your phone at the gate and talk through the garden as you go. Clear the back beds, six cubic metres of topsoil, twelve shrubs, turf the middle section, two days with the mini digger, green waste away.
By the time you are back at the van the draft is there with the lines, the quantities and your prices on it. You correct anything the walk-round changed, add the exclusions, and send it before you leave the drive.
A worked example: clearance and replanting
Spoken while walking a rear garden, in the words a landscaper would use.
Rear garden for the Okonkwos. Clear the overgrown beds and take it all away, about two van loads. Six cubic metres of topsoil, twelve shrubs, turf the middle section, roughly forty square metres. Two days with the mini digger, three days labour for two of us at 480 a day. Materials 1,150. Not touching the big conifer, that needs a tree surgeon. Fortnightly maintenance after, 65 a visit.
The draft that comes back
- Clearance of overgrown beds
- Included
- Green waste disposal, 2 loads
- Included
- Topsoil, 6 m3, and 12 shrubs
- In materials
- Turf, approx. 40 m2
- In materials
- Materials
- $1,150
- Labour, 3 days at $480
- $1,440
- Excluded: conifer removal, tree surgeon required
- Not quoted
- Fortnightly maintenance, quoted separately
- $65 per visit
- Draft total for the works
- $2,590
The maintenance visits stay a separate line, so the one-off job and the ongoing work are not confused with each other, and the conifer is written down as excluded rather than assumed.
Your rates, and no invented quantities
QuoteGlide does not guess what a job should cost. It uses the rates, services and prices supplied by the business and asks for confirmation when information is missing or uncertain.
It does not work out how much topsoil a bed needs, and it does not price disposal for you. If you said six cubic metres at your own rate, that is what is on the quote. If a figure is missing, it asks.
Recurring maintenance and the follow-up
Grounds maintenance is quoted once and worked for a season, so the difference between a yes and a maybe is worth chasing properly. QuoteGlide follows up automatically around days 3, 7 and 14 under your business name, and stops as soon as the customer accepts, declines or asks something.
Because the quote page records when it was opened, you know whether the silence after a big clearance quote is somebody thinking about it or an email that never arrived.
