Automatic follow-up
Follow up on every quote automatically, and stop the moment they answer
Send the quote once. QuoteGlide schedules the reminders, sends them under your business name, and cancels the rest as soon as your customer accepts, declines, asks a question or requests changes.
Free plan available. No credit card required.
Most quotes that go quiet are not rejections. They are quotes that landed on a busy day and were never read twice. Following them up works, and following them up by hand is the job that gets dropped first when the week fills up.
QuoteGlide schedules the follow-up the moment a quote is sent. Reminder emails go out around days 3, 7 and 14, each one written as a short, polite note rather than a chase, and each carrying the same secure link to the quote. If the quote has an expiry date, one more reminder goes out shortly before it expires.
Reminders stop themselves
The sequence exists to get an answer, so any answer ends it. When your customer accepts, declines, asks a question or requests changes, every pending reminder is cancelled and the quote moves to the status that matches what happened.
You can also pause or complete a follow-up by hand at any point, which is what you want when the conversation moved to a phone call and the software has no way to know.
Sent as your business, not as ours
Every reminder goes out under your business name, and each customer-facing email carries a footer identifying your business with its mailing address and reply-to. Recipients get a preferences link they can use to stop automatic reminders themselves, without an account and without contacting anyone.
Addresses that hard-bounce or raise a spam complaint are suppressed and that quote's reminders pause, so a bad address does not quietly keep sending.
What the sequence looks like
Day 0: the quote goes out
Your customer gets the quote by email with a secure link to their own quote page, and the follow-up schedule is created at the same time.
Around day 3: a friendly reminder
A short note in case the quote arrived on a bad day. Nothing about it reads as a chase.
Around day 7: a check-in
A second, quieter note offering to answer questions or adjust the scope.
Around day 14: the final note
The last scheduled reminder. After it, the quote sits in your list as still open rather than being chased indefinitely.
Any reply: the sequence ends
Accept, decline, a question or a change request all cancel what is left, whichever day it arrives on.
A worked example
One quote, sent on a Tuesday, from the send to the answer. This is the timeline as it appears on the quote.
Fence replacement quote sent to Priya Nair on Tuesday morning. Nothing back by Friday.
The draft that comes back
- Tue: quote sent
- Sent
- Tue: opened on a phone
- Viewed
- Fri: friendly reminder
- Reminder 1 sent
- Following Tue: check-in
- Reminder 2 sent
- Wed: customer asks about start dates
- Question received
- Wed: remaining reminders
- Cancelled
The question arrived before the third reminder was due, so the third reminder never went. The quote moved to Question received, and answering it was the only thing left on the list.
What follow-up does not do
QuoteGlide sends reminders about a quote you sent to a customer you already have a relationship with. It is not a cold outreach tool, it does not supply contact lists, and it does not keep emailing somebody who has asked it to stop.
