The AI quote composer is the part of QuoteGlide that turns what you say about a job into a quote a customer can read. It is built around the way quoting actually happens: notes taken standing in a driveway, on a phone, between two other jobs, and written up hours later when the day is over.
You can dictate the job with the microphone, type it into the composer, or paste a message the customer sent you. QuoteGlide reads the scope out of it, matches the work against the services and rates saved in your workspace, and prepares a draft quote with line items, quantities and totals.

What comes back from a set of notes
A draft, on the same sheet the quote editor uses, ready to open and change:

- Your prices: the figures you stated, or the rates already saved in your services library.
- A title and a plain-language summary of the work.
- Assumptions and exclusions where you named them, so what is not included is written down.
- Every field editable, because a draft is a starting point rather than an answer.
What the recording shows
The recording opens on the QuoteGlide assistant with an empty composer. The microphone button is tapped and a short set of job notes is spoken: a kitchen and hallway repaint, two coats, two days labour at 320 a day, 180 of materials, ceilings excluded.
The spoken notes appear as text in the composer. The assistant replies that it found an existing customer with that name and is preparing a draft, then shows a confirmation card listing the line items, quantities and prices it is about to use.
The card is confirmed. The draft quote opens with preparation, the repaint, labour, materials and the ceiling exclusion as separate lines, and a total built from the dictated prices. The quote is marked as a draft, and the recording ends before anything is sent.

You speak, type or paste the job notes
Use the microphone from a phone in the van, or type the same thing at a desk. Rough is fine. This is the note you would otherwise write on the back of a card.
QuoteGlide reads the scope out of the notes
It picks out the work to be done, the quantities you gave, and the prices you stated or the rates already saved in your services library.
It checks your existing customers
If the name matches somebody you have quoted before, that record is used. If more than one customer could be meant, it asks which one instead of guessing.
It prepares a draft quote
Line items, quantities, units, totals, a title and a summary, laid out on the sheet the editor uses. The quote is created as a draft.
You ask for revisions in plain language
Two coats on the trim instead of one. Take the skip hire off. The labour is 450, not 400. The composer edits the draft in front of you rather than starting a second quote for the same job.
Material changes come back for confirmation
Anything that changes what a customer would read is shown as a card spelling the change out, and it is applied when you confirm it.
Nothing is sent without your approval
The draft stays a draft. You can open it in the editor and change any line by hand, and sending is a separate step that you take.

The two prices are the two that were dictated. The exclusion is written on the quote rather than left as a silent omission, and the draft opens in the editor for you to check before anybody sees it.
Where the AI stops
QuoteGlide does not guess what a job should cost. It uses the rates, services and prices supplied by the business and asks for confirmation when information is missing or uncertain.
If you have not given a price for something, it is not priced. The composer does not invent quantities, does not invent customer details, and does not estimate market rates. Anything it prepares is a draft that you review, and every material change is confirmed before it is applied.
